Read for a Better Life!
Please make sure that you listen to your child read each night. Discuss the story with your child after they finish, or even while they are reading if they have a question. When you are finished reading, sign the folder. We would really appreciate it if you make your child responsible for their folder – putting it in the backpack and returning to school.
In addition to listening to your child read, please read to him/her whenever you can. Listening to stories is a wonderful way to learn about books and language. It’s also a fun way to spend time together!
